Today James wished Daddy a Happy Birthday. Daddy was quite surprised by James' birthday wish. James has actually increased his vocabulary greatly in the past week. Today, while at Morgan's house he said "board" while pounding on an ironing board (there was no iron, it was being used for folding laundry and had been lowered for that purpose). James has also been caught saying "I Luv U". James' new vocabulary includes such words as "truck", "hot", and "hat".
In addition to the extra vocanulary, James has shown that he understands the word no. When he was asked this evening if he wanted to talk to Grandma and Grandpa (on the phone), he stated with authority "NO" and shook his head no. He then proceeded to laugh and run away from the phone. Later when asked if he wanted to go see Grandma and Grandpa, he did the same thing. My guess is that when James sees Grnadma and Grandpa on Saturday, he will be very happy to see them.
