It is with a very sad heart that James asks for your prayers for the family of Ms. Ellen. Ms. Ellen was James' first daycare provider and she did a wonderful job teaching him and helping mold him into the little boy that he is today. Sadly, this evening around 8:10 PM, Ms. Ellen lost her longtime battle with cancer.
While James is too young to understand what has happened, he will miss her dearly. We have not decided how, or if we will actually tell James about Ms. Ellen's passing. It will probably be best if we do not.
All that we know is that Ms. Ellen, and her husband Ron, were angels sent to us to care for James. While her time on earth may be complete, we fully understand the reason God has called her home. He needed her much more than we did and while we are saddened by the loss of our very dear friend, we are thankful that she is no longer in pain. We are thankful that God has given her home like no other for her to spend the rest of eternity.
