James had a wonderful day at Mommy's birthday picnic. He got the opportunity to run around and play hard at the park. James enjoyed seeing all of Mommy's friends and had a really good time playing with his friend Morgan and his cousin Kara.
James also spent time identifying and pointing things out to Mommy and Daddy today. As he walked around the grass, James would see a twig, a rock, a leaf, a feather, or some other object and he would point to it and say the name of the object. Mommy and Daddy were very impressed. This seems to have picked up greatly in the last week. We hope that it continues. It is amazing to see his little mind work and to see how far he has come.
James has recently started to correctly identify his colors. The other day he came home from daycare and told us his shirt was orange. He has been working on his colors for a little while, but up until the past couple of days everything was either blue or purple when you asked him.
