Loving His New Daycare

There is nothing more wonderful than picking up your 21 1/2 month old from his new daycare and hearing how well-behaved and smart he is. All of James new teachers wanted to take him home with them for keeps. James started a new daycare today because the WVU Early Child Care Center finally opened. After a few weeks at James' old daycare, it was also wonderful to pick him up with smile on his face and telling Mommy and Daddy what a wonderful day he had. For the first time since he left in home daycare with his friend Morgan, James said "yes" when we asked him if he had a good day. He also talked happily about how he played and what he had for lunch. What a difference a change in environment can make. James is feeling better now as well. His ear infection seems to be clear and he is back to his usual self. He has recently "discovered" mud puddles and enjoys bouning his ball in them. He has also started to accurately recognize his colors.
