24 Month Check Up

Yesterday James went to the doctor for his 24 month check up. He grew four inches and gained three pounds since his last check up. The doctor discovered a minor ear infection and gave James an antibiotic. Afterwards, Mommy and Daddy bought James some new shoes. He had not really outgrown his old ones yet, they just never really fit right. James has a wide foot and it is hard to find wide widths in toddler shoes. Interestingly, James new shoes are Nikes, a shoe known for its narrowness. Later Mommy and Daddy took James for some ice cream. James is doing well. he felt much better this morning after only one dose of antibiotic. He is starting to string lots of words together to describe what is going on. It is a real joy to listen to him talk. James is looking forward to spending next week with Grandma and Grandpa and wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
