Today James went to see his friend Dr. Troischt for his 18 month check up. Yes, it is hard to believe James is already 18 months old. James did very well at his check up. He now weighs 29 lbs 3 oz and is 35 inches tall. ALMOST 3 FT TALL. James grew an entire inch since his last visit at 15 months.
Dr. Troischt says that James is developing just fine and should be able to say about 10-15 words. (He doesn't know James very well, does he?) He says James should be able to throw a ball (has been for several months) and climb on furniture (ditto). He said that James' two years molars are starting to come in and that everything else looked fine.
James received his Hepatitis B booster vaccine. Normally this is not given until 24 months, but because of the uncertainty of where we will be Dr. Troischt and Mommy thought it was a good idea to go ahead and give it now.
