James went to see the doctor today after running a fever and catching a very nasty cough. James was staying with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy were in the Cleveland area for a conference. Mommy and Daddy had to come home from the conference and met James and Grandma at the hospital. James received a breathing treatment which cleared things up, but we are fighting to make sure it is not a repeat of when he got pneumonia at 4 months of age. James will have a follow up with Dr. Troischt on Friday.
While in the Cleveland area, Daddy visited the Step 2 store and bought James some new toys. James will get to play with them once he gets to feeling better.
Since James hasn't been feeling well, all rules have been put aside and James has spent a lot of time watching Go, Diego Go! and Dora the Explorer. He has also discovered rootbeer and banana popsicles because it is one of the few things he will even eat right now. Pedialyte and Jello have also become staples this week.
James says to tell everyone hello. He says he hopes he feels better in a couple of days because he still has to buy Mommy something for Mother's Day.
