James' First Fireworks
This evening, the Risk family headed over to see the fireworks for the Fourth of July. The local fireworks were set off at the Loch Raven Academy on the east side of Towson. Loch Raven Academy sits across the street from a shopping center, so we were able to park at the shopping center, open the tailgate to our Honda CRV and watch the fireworks. There were lots of oooohs and aaaaahs from James. About halfway through the 20 minute show, James started asking "Oooooh! Mommy did you see that?" or "Oooooh! Daddy, did you see that one?" All in all it was a pleasant evening and a lot of fun for everyone. The best part of it was that we didn't have to pay to park and we were able to get out easily afterwards and beat the traffic. James had a wonderful time and can't wait until next year's fireworks show.
