James' People

I'm sure you have all heard the phrase "have your people call my people." Well, this evening, James informed us that he has people! I am not sure if I should be worried or scared, but it was way too funny to let it pass by without posting.  After dinner, Mommy asked James if he needed a diaper change and James responded very normally "No, my people changed it."  Lori and I both burst out laughing.

"My people?"  Our two year old has people? I know that James is very busy, but to have his own people at two years old? What is the world coming to?

Once Lori and I were able to regain our composure, we asked James who his "people" were. James told us his "people" were Ms. Tina and Ms. Amanda (his daycare teachers).  I am sure they will get a kick out of that when I tell them tomorrow morning. At least James' people change his diaper.  That's much more than most people's people will do for them.
